Let’s start off by saying Merry New Year, because ‘Happy New Year’ is so last year. So it’s 2012, the year that the world is supposed to end and the Olympics come to London. The year that so many athletes have been waiting for ever so eagerly.
For me this year signals the end of my education, providing I can pass everything. Personally I think I should pass simply because of how much hard work I have put into studying for the majority of life. Sadly that’s not how things work. The idea of leaving education finally and stepping out into the big wide world is…terrifying, yet exhilarating. But needs must and it’s my time to make my own way. Oh dear, I’m already getting all nostalgic.
Want to hear my New Year’s resolutions? Well tough, I’m going to tell you them anyway. I’m planning on stopping as many bad habits as possible, like speaking over people, and I plan on improving my confidence, motivation and concentration. It’s going to be a busy year, I can tell.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the best in the year ahead, but also to warn you that what you will read in future posts from me will be completely random, entirely my own opinion and will be an absolute passion in the things I write about. You have been warned!
