All The World’s a Stage

I’m well aware that I haven’t posted anything but improv for the last couple of posts, but I must share this clip with you!

This is a game that they have so far only done twice, both on Improv-a-ganza. It’s called Playbook and basically two improvers do a scene, based on a suggestion from the audience, but one of the improvers has to use lines from a play book for his/her owns lines, a playbook that has been chosen at random from three. The other is doing all the hard work by making up stuff as they go along.

The scene is about Dungeons and Dragons, with Colin Mocherie doing the improv part and Drew Carey himself reading from the playbook. “Don’t mention Suzanne!”
